Gate M hosts ‘Waterfront Carnival’

THE glow of winter has fully settled on the West Bund, and GATE M Dream Center is rolling out the next chapter of its seasonal “Waterfront Carnival,” from riverside skating to live performances and a kaleidoscope-themed market inside the iconic silos.
The 1,500-square-meter outdoor ice rink is now open, offering one of Shanghai’s most scenic winter rituals: skating under riverfront lights with music drifting across the plaza.
The Fantasy Touring Train adds a touch of whimsy, carrying visitors through illuminated streets and waterfront paths on a slow, dreamy loop between the rink and silo district.
Weekends keep the energy high with live music curated by Lang Lang Music World and immersive roaming performances by Little Comma Theatre. Meanwhile, Kaleidoscope Market brings plants, crafts, pet treats and colorful seasonal finds to the silo, making the entire West Bund district feel vibrant from day to night.
