Making waves at beach side music fest

BEACH side music to groove to, dance to and splash around to will fill the sea air as the Zebra Music Festival gets underway July 20 at Jinshan City Beach.

This year's three-day fest will feature numerous acts including German dance band Groove Coverage, Japanese rock band Mongol800, Chinese American singer Stanley Huang and Taiwanese heartthrob Show Lo, dubbed Asia's Dance King.

Last year more than 100,000 people attended.

A special beach wedding will be held, celebrating the marriage of a couple who fell in love at last year's festival.

The festival will feature beach parties, extreme sports, water-splashing game as well as a creative bazaar.

The festival will launch a charity program titled "You & Me" to raise awareness of the importance of marine life protection.

Date: July 20-22, 9am-9pm

Venue: Jinshan City Beach, 5 Xincheng Rd
