New stars twinkle in 'Let's Shake It'
EVER since its debut in 2006, the celebrity dance TV show "Let's Shake It" has found an enthusiastic audience in Shanghai.
This year's competition will feature more than 80 stars from around China, including Taiwanese actor and singer Van Ness Wu, "Happy Girl" Jiang Yingrong, Chinese mainland actor Yu Entai and the new "China's Got Talent" winner Zhuo Jun.
After professional training, the stars will show off their dance steps in ballroom and its many variations - hip-hop, folk, modern and even ballet.
There will be plenty of audience interaction.
The show begins airing Sunday on Dragon TV at 9pm; it will air every Sunday night.
Director Xu Xiaodong says the show will run for around three months and feature a more elaborate stage and set than last year, as well as even more dazzling costumes.
It will be broadcast simultaneously on Sina weibo.
