Photos capture 10 years of Formula One

A photo exhibition about the Chinese Grand Prix, "Life at Speed," is underway at Citic Square through July 28. A Formula One car is there as well.

The race's official photographer, Chen Di, displays 42 pictures covering 10 years of the Chinese Grand Prix at the Shanghai International Circuit. Formula One racing got underway in China in 2004.

The photos cover the races themselves, the drivers, crowds and celebrations.

"We try to show the spirit and lifestyle of Formula One," says Chen.

The exhibition area is designed in the shape of the racing circuit and decorate with posters.

Visitors can try their racing skills in the games area where F1 video games are set up.

Over the weekend, two lectures will describe the sport. Chen and famous F1 commentator Pan Yongyong will share behind-the-scenes stories.

Date: Through July 28, 10am-10pm

Venue: Citic Square, 1168 Nanjing Rd W.
