Photos keep memories at mountain alive

FORTY years ago, a conference was held at Mogan Mountain to discuss issues surrounding some early economic reforms. More than 120 young Chinese economists and scholars attended the forum, many of whom are now key pillars of China’s economy, such as Zhou Xiaochuan, governor of the People’s Bank of China.
To memorialize the event, the Deqing government has dug out some old photos to provide a peak at various memories.
