Sinan New Year Season is a long-running winter cultural event transforming the historic Sinan Mansions into a warm, artistic hub. It features theater, street music, art installations, exhibitions and artificial snowfall experiences, inviting visitors to enjoy a cozy, art-filled new year with loved ones.
Especially, during the new year holiday, Sinan Mansions hosts a series of street-corner music performances, inviting visitors to enjoy a romantic winter atmosphere through diverse musical styles. Performances include bamboo flute and xiao (a vertical Chinese instrument), keyboard singing, gentle guitar melodies, rich sheng (a kind of Chinese instrument) sounds, and dynamic DJ remix elements. The program creates a warm and healing winter music experience for holiday visitors strolling through the historic neighborhood.
