The History of Whoo鈥檚 collaborations with intangible cultural heritage

Recently, the cosmetic brand The History of Whoo invited a group of artists to hold an exhibition on China鈥檚 intangible cultural heritage. The show was also a celebration of the 10th anniversary of the brand.

Luo Minxin, an inheritor of national intangible cultural heritage, made a palace lantern for the exhibition, showing a master hand of Chinese craftsmanship.

In addition, The History of Whoo launched a 鈥渃raft gift box鈥 with South Korean court artists.

A special royal edition of the Self-generating Anti-aging Essence was inspired by Changdeokgung Palace in South Korea, one of the 鈥淔ive Grand Palaces鈥 built by the kings of the Joseon Dynasty.

Lee Young-ae, a South Korean actress, was in the spotlight for making an appearance at the event.

Urban Revivo X Andrew Yang

Chinese fast fashion brand Urban Revivo has launched a new series of collections with Andrew Yang, the famous doll designer in New York.

To promote the new collections, a special immersive exhibition is being staged. Urban Revivo designed a 鈥渢rend train鈥 at HKRI Taikoo Hui, Shanghai. Under the theme of 鈥渢ime travel,鈥 there are four areas of the exhibition, including a 鈥渢ime shuttle bus,鈥 a 1980s-inspired Disco ballroom, an arcade hall and a 鈥渇uture laboratory.鈥

Chinese independent designer brands join hands with tech companies

During Shanghai Fashion Week, the WeChat applet Yi Bu was launched to help the development of Chinese independent designer brands.

The Chinese independent designer Li Wei, founder of the brand Awaylee, started the 鈥淓co-industry strategic alliance of independent designers鈥 with Suntex technology and G-collective.

Working with the alliance, Yi Bu provides a convenient tool focusing on serving the fashion industry, helping designers promote their brands and reach new customers.

鈥淭hrough the collaboration, Awaylee produced over 150 ready-to-wear collections in three days before the show for Shanghai Fashion Week,鈥 Li said.
