Exhibit brings F1 excitement to life

FORMULA One fans can catch an exhibition of model race cars and vivid photos that capture great moments in the sport’s history.

An authentic F1 car is the highlight. It gives fans a glimpse into the sleek features that make race cars so attractive. Fans are permitted to take photos with the car.

Around 100 model cars are also part of the exhibit. Many of them are limited editions such as the 248 Imola, F2002 15, F2003, F2004, which are based on the cars of seven-time F1 world champion Michael Schumacher.

The retired driver amazed people from all over the world and set many records during his career. But the F1 legend suffered a horrific ski accident last year and has been in a medically induced coma since late December.

More than 40 photos of the Chinese Grand Prix are also on display. The photos have been taken by Chen Di, the race’s official photographer.

Chen’s pictures document the race, the drivers, fans and race volunteers. His photos tell vivid stories about the enduring charm of F1.

On April 26, Chen will give a free lecture. He will share behind-the-scenes stories and sports photography tips.

During the exhibition, visitors can also race friends in the F1 video game area.
