Eye-catching TV shows coming this summer
THE small screen will also have plenty to offer this summer, including loads of new dramas, documentaries and animated programs.
Dragon TV will air “Idols Over Flowers” at 8:30pm on Saturdays. In this new reality series, Chinese and foreign idols, including mainland actors Jia Nailiang and Lu Yi, and South Korean singer Kim Sung-joo take a backpacking journey through Hungary, Austria and Greek for two weeks.
The new season of the outdoor reality series “Go Fighting!” continues to bring audiences laughter every Sunday at 9pm as celebrities undertake more challenging blue-collar professions.
Dragon TV also airs a new competition of grassroots comedy stars every Friday at 10pm.
News Channel will air a 7-episode documentary series about the diverse summer life and homework of Chinese students on Sundays at 4pm, starting on July 10.
The second and third seasons of American suspense series “Lost” will be shown on ICS starting July 17. Acclaimed animated films and series from home and abroad will be presented by Haha TV and Toonmax TV.
