Face Up To Art Project

FRENCH artist JR is asking for local residents’ participation in an ongoing art project “Inside Out” in Shanghai’s downtown Xintiandi area. The artist will take black-and-white pictures of the people and post them in the public areas of Xintiandi’s South and North blocks, showing the faces that showcase expressions of the city. Those interested in the project can see them in Xintiandi through May 29 from 11am to 8pm.
