Interactive jazz-funk concert

POPULAR Swiss jazz-funk group Bconnected will present a light-hearted concert next Thursday at the Shanghai Daning Theater.
The program includes European jazz trio "Saudade," "Special You" and "Travel." Alicia Mary will be guest vocalist.
Founded in Switzerland in 1994 by guitarist and composer Eugene Montenero, the band has performed around the world and staged at such festivals as the Montreux Jazz Festival, JZ Jazz Festival, Shanghai Jazz Week, Hong Kong International Jazz Festival and Beijing Nine Gates Jazz Festival.
The band has released seven albums. It sound is evolving and it has introduced elements from Asia and North Africa, but its roots are in jazz.
Bconnected aims for a close and interactive connection with the audience.
