"Every new beginning comes from some other beginning's end ... and to make an end is to make a beginning." This is a quotation by T.S. Elliot, which I tried to keep in mind throughout my whole graduation. This is the only thing that prevented me from the disappointment I felt in leaving the place that has been my home for two years.
The SCIS graduation ceremony was a flash of time that I am sure will stay with me for eternity. Seeing all these smiles and tears of joy was an extraordinary feeling that provoked the most genuine of thoughts. However, what truly made my day was the fact that I saw my parents for the first time in months - being with people that you enjoy the most made my day.
As one wise man said, life is counted not in how many breaths you take, but how many breathtaking moments you have; graduation was definitely one of those. Putting the full stop at the end of high school also signifies the beginning of another sentence, that of university.
