Big plans for new school year

Many international schools will soon start a new school year. I feel happy that my school is starting, as I will see my friends again, but sad as the summer holidays are over. I have set goals for this school year so that I can achieve something, but I also have some hopes and expectations!

I hope that I can continue teaching at Saturday School because I really enjoyed teaching the Chinese students and it has also improved my confidence. I hope to be with my friends in most of my classes so that they can help me focus and I can also have fun with them. Thirdly, I also hope to continue with after-school girls’ football/soccer and swimming as when it is winter I can still move around. I don’t like being still all the time!

One of my expectations for this year, is to be able to solve problems which require logical thinking and out-of-the-box thinking. I’d also like to meet new students and work with them! I plan to read more books and apply some of the ideas in my own writing!

This year, I also set myself some goals. One of my main goals is to improve my language skills especially my grammar skills in Chinese and English. I also want to learn my piano pieces faster, so then I will know more songs. Another of my goals is to challenge myself more so that I get to try out more things such as software development and learning new software.

So, these are my goals, hopes and expectation for this year — which I am sure is going to be exciting!
