Graduation marks a new start in life

I'VE spent the last 13 years of my life at school and during my time as a student graduation has always seemed so far away. Now that school is over I have an ever-present feeling that I have something to do but then I remember that I can finally relax.
Although doing nothing is a relief, graduation brings a lot of new stresses and thoughts into my mind. I am now thinking of college and how the rest of my life will turn out, which is very exciting but at the same time daunting. My graduation day was a day I will never forget, I felt proud of all my friends and my family was there to support me, I began to feel a lot more like an adult.
It was sad as well as it felt like I was saying good-bye to teachers and friends. I believe that graduation marks the start of the rest of your life and it has pushed me forward as I begin a new journey.
