My three favorite places in China

CHINA is huge and there are a lot of places to visit. I'll describe the three places that I loved.
Hong Kong, which is probably the most modern city in Asia, has a very English culture. There is a huge variety of restaurants. The best hotels are Park Lane and The Harbourview. It might be hard to find a cheap hotel because Hong Kong is an expensive city. If you want to escape from the busy city center, there are beautiful sights to visit. You can take the boat to one of the islands surrounding Hong Kong Island such as Lamma Island.
Yunnan is the province where the vegetation is always green, the sights are unique and the mountains are beautiful. I strongly recommend you to visit Dali, Lijiang and Shangri-La. You will discover amazing traditional buildings and monasteries. Try the Tibetan food, especially the yak meat. The main activity is hiking.
And finally, Sanya. Probably the place in China with the cleanest, most beautiful sandy beaches and transparent water. I advise you to go to Yalong Bay which is lined with hotels and restaurants. You can also go cycling among the beautiful sights. The temperature is warm but there are occasional typhoons around October.
