Not everyone is dreading the school bell

SUMMER is nearly over, and another 10 months of a new school year awaits. Returning to school is a moment many kids dread, as they have to get back into the daily routine of classes and all that goes with education.
As you grow older, however, this really becomes less dreadful and much more exciting. Think about it: Is returning to school all that bad? In fact, there are so many things to be looking forward to as the new academic year commences. I’m looking forward to having to do something new every day.
I always rejoice when there’s an upcoming holiday, yet I usually waste all of that free time because I don’t always have much of a busy schedule. I spend most of the time sitting at home and playing games during breaks.
Having school every day makes my days more eventful and interesting, especially as I’m heading into the new academic year to do the International Baccalaureate Diploma Program.
Yeah, I know, the IBDP is said to be super stressful and tedious, but I’m still genuinely excited for it. Why? Well I think the IB will give me a lot more of freedom and choice at school, including having free periods.
This will definitely be enjoyable, since I will have more time to plan my own schedule, and maybe hang out with friends while we study, too! Speaking of hanging out with friends, the thing I’m most excited about is reuniting with my buddies. Whether hanging out in the library or outside on the field, the school campus is always a great place to relax together with friends.
I’m also looking forward to taking advantage of the school’s great facilities, like the gym where I usually play basketball every lunchtime. I hope I’ve reminded you of a few things that make you look forward to coming back to school.
