School grows as you grow

Over the past 12 years that I’ve spent at Yew Chung International School, I’ve seen the school grow and change in many different ways.

I remember when I was in kindergarten and YCIS Pudong was still based in its original space at Seasons Villas. At that point, our Century Park campus didn’t even exist yet! I remember my mom going to visit Century Park campus when it was still under construction. So many things have changed, I can hardly imagine what it will be like in 25 years.

My guess is that after 25 years our school will grow even more.

There have been lots of advancements in recent years. For example, giving iPads to Secondary students. I think this focus on using the latest technologies will continue at YCIS.

Maybe in 25 years holograms will exist and we’ll use them in classrooms? I don’t know about you, but that sounds cool to me! Perhaps in 25 years there will be an even bigger campus with even more facilities.

In another 25 years, I’ll be over 40, but I hope that I’ll still be able to visit the school once in a while and see how much it really has changed.
