Summer is a time for relaxing, holidays and learning

A single word that excites students more than any other. A word counted down until it arrives. A word like the bell signaling the end of class, setting students free. Summer.
Summer is the time when you can sleep until noon, watch YouTube nonstop, and game until your fingers are sore. But summer is also a time for learning.
OK, let鈥檚 be honest. I did not travel outside of China or go to summer camps, so I wasn鈥檛 going to learn much about countries or academic knowledge. However, you can still learn. About character, my friends, and my family.
Over the summer, I planned to finish two puzzles, both 1,000 pieces. I would like to learn to be patient and persistent, and not just give up when a piece just doesn鈥檛 fit.
Finishing a puzzle is like climbing a mountain. The climb itself is hard, but once you reach the top, you鈥檒l see that it鈥檚 all worth it.
In July, my friends from first and second grades came to Shanghai. I hadn鈥檛 seen them for five years!
It was like seeing a blooming flower that was once a seed. It was like seeing a butterfly that was once a caterpillar. And finally, I鈥檒l got to learn about my family.
Over the summer, I went to visit my grandma in Qingdao.
My relatives were all there! You can learn no matter what circumstances you are in. Whether it鈥檚 in school, after school classes, or during summer vacation. Learning can happen anywhere and everywhere. Make use of a perfect time to learn: summer.
