Anne’s throat began to sore. The scoundrels were creeping inside the dark, humid world created by Anne’s saliva. They want to defeat the white blood cells in the upcoming battle. As the steps of the crowd started to stagnate before reaching Anne’s swollen tonsil, the atmosphere became intense. These bacteria were ancient old. Their ancestors have been beaten by Anne’s immune system many times before.
This time, it’s a revenge.
“It’s about time we show ourselves in front of them!” whispered one crafty bacteria. “Don’t be too vain, we still need to keep alert, what if they attack us without warning? We are still under their radar.” The other bacteria disagreed. “Hey, you guys! You two bundles left me with no space at all!” The third bacteria shouted back. “Stupid heads! Stop talking! If we’re too noisy, the white cells might know that we are here!, said the fourth one, By the way, what is our action plan? Does anyone know?
Just nearby, there was an army quietly approaching through the blood vessels … “I believe I just sensed some strange chemicals, I can recognize them,” a white blood cell declared. “I detect something too,” another echoed. Suddenly, their vision became blurred. The bacteria, out of nowhere, confined the white blood cells. Dozens of white blood cells got attached, and they struggled to let go. Many white cells began to deteriorate, and a dozen even died!
The white cells are no pessimists! “Don’t be scared! We can fight the bacteria! We buried their ancestors before, because we are programmed to do the task! We can make history again!” United as ever before, the companions regained their courage. Their fighting spirit came back. They surrounded the bacteria and carried them to T cell, and then released histamine and softens the capillaries of the bacteria to kill. The survivors still tried to fight back but were instead pushed out of Anne’s body with a huge sneeze.
