Top IB results at BISS

BRITISH International School Shanghai's graduating class of 2010 produced outstanding results.

The 23 students who made up IB Diploma cohort achieved an average score of 32 points, above the global average of 30.

Student Linnea Strid scored 44 points from a maximum of 45, placing her in the top 1 percent in the world.

Singaporean posts amazing score

This year the Shanghai Singapore International School witnessed its highest-ever individual score since introducing the International Baccalaureate Diploma program in 2006.

Kerri Pang Kai-Ning scored 44 of 45 points. The Singaporean was also recognized as the 2010 valedictorian. Pang scored 7/7 points across five of the six subjects, giving her the chance to enroll at any of the world's best universities across all fields and faculties.

Her interest in journalism and writing has taken her to Northwestern University's acclaimed School of Journalism, where she is now a freshman.
