Year 6 students had their residential trip to Sanshan Island in Suzhou in October. It was a long journey of three hours by bus and about half an hour by ferry. This trip was filled with adventures and activities, including Dragon Boat racing, cycling, camping, high ropes, disco and hiking.
The hardest one for me was the high ropes challenge. We were set into groups to compete and my group was the “Chunk-Chocks” (chunky chocolate).
This residential trip was an amazing experience of learning new things, testing my independence, and trusting my instincts; after all this was my first trip without my mum. It was exceptionally awesome!
