A kangaroo doing ballet: Circus on way

THE Russian State Circus will bring grand circus performances “Island of Dream” to Shanghai during the National Day holiday.
In the eyes of many Russian people, each circus performance represents a personality style. Circus shows used to be a kind of entertainment for the royal family in the 18th century,
And now they annually entertain more than 70 million Russian people.
Founded in 1971, the Russian State Circus has performed worldwide. They will create a fantasy world with special settings of fire, water, ice and tower.
The show is about the adventure of two friends who walk through a time tunnel and travel around the world in a hot-air balloon.
Acrobatic artists wi ll showcase their skills of silk hanging, trampoline and balancing. Animal tamers will bring a cheetah, brown bear,
Horse, dog and kangaroo to the stage to present lighthearted acts. The kangaroo used to perform a “boxing” act but this time it will display elegant ballet dance moves.
