Comedy show plans loads of laughs
THE comedy variety show “Gag Concert” will debut tomorrow night on Dragon TV.
The weekly show, co-produced by Dragon TV and Korean Broadcasting System, will air at 9pm every Saturday and the producer is promising something different.
“A variety of forms of comedy such as talk show, sketch and crosstalk will be presented to cater to a wide audience,” says “Gag Concert” producer Zhu Hui. “Most of the content is inspired by real-life issues and stories.”
Zhu adds that the performances are very close to people’s daily lives and will be a good way to relieve stress after a tough week at the office.
Mainland hostess Yu Shasha, Taiwan actors Evonne Xie, Hank Chen and Ken Liu, as well as South Korean pop band Shinhwa will perform a variety of acts each week.
Sun Jianhong, the champion of a local comedy reality show will host a special segment in which he interprets the lies men tell women.
Meanwhile, Channel M will present musical programs about the latest trends in the global music industry.
Viewers can catch the latest chart topping tunes, pop concerts and interviews with singers and musicians. The latest music videos by the biggest acts will be aired. Comments from viewers will run along the bottom of the screen.
