Gifted children showcase art on ‘Beautiful China’

A children’s painting exhibition on the theme of “Beautiful China” is underway.
Duoyunxuan Art Center, Oriental Kid’s Art and Shanghai Special Care Foundation jointly host the show, which features over 1,000 works.
The art pieces, created by gifted children between the ages of 3 and15, have been selected from more than 10,000 nationwide entries. Each painting conveys the children’s own understanding of rapid development in the country.
Zhao Bing, founder of Oriental Kid’s Art, said they would continue to offer children a wide platform to unleash their imagination and express themselves freely.
The exhibit has also invited veteran artists and scholars to a forum to discuss a new mode for art education.
