CHAR conjures up a new menu
Venezuelan chef Willmer Colmenares has crafted a new menu for the CHAR Bar and Grill at Hotel Indigo Shanghai On the Bund, highlighting the season’s best seafood and signature grilled steaks.
Tuna tartare is a must-try dish. Colmenares conjured up a special sesame dressing with a hint of wasabi to elevate the freshness of the tuna and avocado.
CHAR has also introduced several seafood dishes for the season. The seafood stand is a starter for sharing, featuring freshly shucked seasonal oysters, king prawns, dressed brown crab, black mussels, sea scallop, scampi and comes with condiments. The Blackmore wagyu fillet served with grilled foie gras, king prawn and sautéed mushrooms is a symphony of flavors and textures. With a generous amount of truffle shaves on top, the tender and juicy fillet packs rich layers of flavors and highlights a charming smoky fragrance from the grill.
