Chocolate, which is identified with love, makes a great gift for Valentine’s Day. One legend says a Spanish princess once sent cacao, the seeds that make raw chocolate, to Louis XIV as an engagement gift.
Moreover, chocolate contains theobromine and caffeine, which stimulate the nervous system and increase blood pressure and heart rate, just the reactions the body has when a person is in love. Chocolate also can release endorphins, the neurotransmitters that make people happy.
