After Mexico, the UK, Italy, and Spain, the Corona SunSets Music Festival is making its way to China. As the most popular Mexican beer in the world, Corona will introduce to Shanghai a music experience inspired by the magic of the sunset.
Adding to the festival’s beach-like atmosphere, organizers SFX have filled an area of 6,000 square meters with 250 tons of sand in Shanghai.
Central to the Corona SunSets program are six immersive, large-scale but still intimate and laid-back festival experiences on four continents.
Making its first debut in Shanghai, it has brought a star studded DJs lineup, including Pete Tong, Godfather of “Tropical House;” Bakermart, young EDM idol who is specialized in producing special effect of mixed electronic music by multiple instruments; Sam Feldt who is famous for his relaxed and infectious melodies; and Claptone who is known for wearing a golden bird-like mask.
These great DJs will lead the audiences shuffle between electronic and unplugged acoustic music while embracing themselves in the scenic sunset view.
This is a celebration of sunset and as a tradition of Corona SunSets. Guests will be welcomed by the Corona Goddesses and Nymphs who embody the spirit of the beach and celebrate the SunSet hour with a unique ritual that signifies leaving behind the daytime, and their everyday life, and begin their journey through the night.
Those who wish to visually express that they are part of the tribe worshiping the magic hour can also have their face and body painted with colourful and highly refined removable tattoos.
Corona SunSets brings back the ancient sunset ritual, worldwide tradition of sun worship during a lantern parade where festival goddesses invite the crowd to celebrate the magic of the sunset and light up Griffin stage and the sky, as celebrations continue into the night.
The Corona SunSets festival series will be given a unique taste and flavor courtesy of globally-renowned Chef Andre Amaro, with his delicious wood-fire based cuisine, and the Shaker Boys, who will concoct Corona-based cocktails.
Fans attending these events will also have the opportunity to visit a festival marketplace offering local crafts and clothing, participate in relaxing and reinvigorating beach activities.
Corona is known and adored by young people for its refreshing taste, crisp color and as a perfect symbol of premium and relaxation, which goes best with slice of lime.
Corona represents an opportunity to take a step back from the world and enjoy oneself, whether that is on the beach or at the bar with friends.
