Jade on 36’s new look and flavor
The Jade on 36 Restaurant at Pudong Shangri-La, East Shanghai has unveiled a fresh look and new menu that adds an Asian twist to French cuisine.
New chef de cuisine Taylan Yucel, from Turkey, has worked with consultant chef Olivier Pistre from Shangri-La Hotel, Kuala Lumpur to craft an upbeat dining experience sharing-style dishes, fresh seafoods and bright flavors.
To start, the beef tartare, caviar and oyster (328 yuan/US$51) presents the taste of the sea and land in one bite.
For the main, the Atlantic black cod (188 yuan) with potato, fennel, parsnip, aioli and bouillabaisse sauce is perfect.
