Stewing up some great food

Tajine Moroccan Restaurant & Lounge near the Bund is now open.

The restaurant features a cozy and exotic environment along with artfully presented food.

Tajine is a North African stew cooked in special clay pots over hot charcoal. It typically is made with poultry or fish along with vegetables, nuts and spices. The menu offers beef tajine served with homemade sweet plum sauce or olives and almonds, lamb tajine served with green peas and carrots, as well as salmon filet tagine with mixed olives and potatoes.

The vegetarian couscous is another signature dish. For dessert, the restaurant serves traditional Moroccan kunafa with mixed nuts.

And don’t forget to try Moroccan mint tea.
