"Telescope" explores identity issue
BEFORE profiling this week's pick, here's an additional something interesting going on for fans of experimental film.
On September 2, at 9pm, at Dada (115 Xingfu Road, near Fahuazhen Road), local art curator and VJ Tina Blakeley (aka Tina Sprinkles) is presenting filmmaker Dirk de Bruyn in person to introduce his film "Telescope."
"Telescope" is described as "(Exploring) notion's of identity, culture and nostalgia illustrated via animation, mixed media, archive footage and a unique soundtrack."
It should be a good experience for those wanting to see a film that doesn't include super heroes saving the world from all forms of evil.
