ONLINE travel operator LY.com, or Tongcheng, is offering the cheapest imaginable ticket — a discount all the way to 1 yuan — covering nearly 1,000 tourist spots across China in July and August for the summer tourism market. The Lingshan Grand Buddha in Wuxi, in neighboring Jiangsu Province, Tongli ancient water town in Jiangsu, Shouxihu scenic spot in Yangzhou, Jiangsu, and Happy Valley in Shenzhen are among the places where the 1-yuan ticket is applicable. The 1-yuan admission is being offered on LY.com’s social messaging tool Weixin (WeChat) client.
