Airbus production line launch

AIRBUS has officially launched the 74,000- square-meter A350 XWB Final Assembly Line (FAL), in Toulouse, France, inaugurated by French prime minister Jean-Marc Ayrault. The line will have a capacity for building up to 10 aircraft a month from 2018. The under-development A350 XWB is a mid-size, wide-body airliner that can have 25 percent better fuel efficiency and operating costs compared to other aircraft of the same size. In a typical three-class configuration, the A350-800 will have 270 seats while the A350-900 and the A350-1000 will have 314 and 350 seats respectively.
