Alibaba gets Fliggy for Singles Day Shopping
Alibaba’s online travel unit Fliggy will launch a variety of new personalized itineraries for the Singles Day Shopping Festival on November 11.
These include special tours to appreciate the Northern Lights covering the whole arctic circle in Canada, Finland and Russia, a 113-day cruise tour of the world, an exploration tour to Amazon jungle and Mount Everest.
The presales of Fliggy for the day cover more than 10,000 tour products in over 200 destinations globally.
The California Disney Resorts has recently opened a flagship store on Fliggy after the two sides signed a cooperation agreement.
Fliggy has also initiated a new travel union including airlines, amusement park giants, hotel chain brands and tourist attraction operators to jointly develop tour products and provide one-stop travel option to travelers.
