SANYA has long been a perfect getaway for people suffering from smog in cities. A first quarter report found that the city’s air quality was good.
The AQI was excellent for 64 days during the period. The sea water at seven main tourism districts, including Yalong Bay and Haitang Bay, meets Class I standards. More tourists are heading to Sanya because of the favorable environment. “We are in paradise,” a tourist surnamed Zhang said.
