Crystal Princess sets sail on Huangpu River

Crystal Princess, a new cruise ship for sightseeing on the Huangpu River, has set sail on a trial operation.

With a capacity of 380 people and a cost of about 50 million yuan (US$8.64 million), the 60-meter-long ship is installed with 35 projectors, acoustics and electric lifting stages, making it the best installations among all sightseeing ships on the river.

It leaves the newly built No. 3 Cruise Dock of Shiliupu from 6:45pm every day, and the two-hour tour passes Yangpu, Nanpu and Lupu bridges.

Passengers will see some of Shanghai’s most beautiful landmark buildings and structures in Pudong and Puxi, such as the Oriental Pearl TV Tower, Jin Mao Tower, Shanghai Tower, World Financial Center, Waibaidu Bridge, Power Station of Art and Nanpu Bridge.

Admission fee is 450 yuan for each passenger.
