THE Egypt tourism authority is promoting self-drive tours. Suggested driving routes apart from the pyramids and deserts include Alexandria Harbor, which is considered a great place for romance due to its peacefulness and beautiful scenery. About 20,000 Chinese tourists traveled to Egypt between January and March after Egypt loosened its visa policy.
