Feel like royalty with a luxurious Westin stay
MOUNTAIN climbing, horseback riding and tea drinking make for some wonderful spring outings.
The Westin Ningbo is offering leisure packages featuring these activities so guests can experience the mountains and rejuvenate.
“Guests who like the Westin are people passionate about life and fond of healthy lifestyles,” said William Yang, the hotel’s general manager.
“Living in a concrete forest, people need ways to release pressure and reenergize. The leisure package with mountain hiking and horseback riding embody the ‘Westin Well-being Movement,’ a campaign designed to enhance the well-being of our guests and associates around the world.”
The hotel arranges transportation to Fuquan Mountain, where green and white tea leaves grow. Guests can pick tea leaves and sample the tea, as well as take a scenic hike on the mountain. Another package provides a chance for guests to go horseback riding. Families will be pleased to know that ponies are available so children can participate.
The Westin Ningbo also offers maps with several jogging routes that may encompass circling a lake, ascending a hill, or running along the riverfront. Hotel waiters will be waiting for returning joggers with a bottle of water and towel.
Facilities for meetings and conferences total 6,000 square meters in space, the most in town. The Crystal Grand Hall is a 1,600-square-meter banquet room while the Galaxy Grand Hall has 1,180 square meters of space.
The Westin Ningbo truly understands the city. Ningbo is known for its pursuit of leisure and the hotel brings this spirit to guests.
Take a look around, the pace of life is slower compared to similar-sized cities. Locals stroll casually in the streets. They stop at eateries or tea houses for a quick bite to eat and some casual conversation. It’s all a part of Ningbo life.
The Westin Ningbo also has a “six brand pillars” philosophy — sleep, eat, work, move, feel and play well — that has guided its approach to serving guests.
Each hotel in the Westin group adapts and localizes this philosophy to create memorable experiences for guests.
The Westin Ningbo delivers on its “eat well” promise with scrumptious and authentic Ningbo cuisine at Five Sen5es. The restaurant features luxurious purple and black decor along with savory and salty dishes that are a signature of the cuisine.
Five Sen5es’ preserved crab comes highly recommended. Found in most restaurants around the city, this raw dish is often salty and served with congee. Five Sen5es chefs have created a milder version to highlight the crab’s original flavor.
For those who like diverse menus, don’t fret, Five Sen5es also serves Huaiyang and Cantonese dishes.
The “sleep well” vow is fulfilled as each room and suite features a Heavenly Bed, which are used in more than 200 Westin hotels around the world. The beds are designed to ensure maximum comfort. The hotel’s crystal blue infinity pool is part of the “play well” pledge. The WestinWorkout Studio also includes a gym, hot tub, jacuzzi and sauna.
Situated at the corner of Tianyi Square, The Westin Ningbo is in the center of the city. This prime location allows guests to “move well” during their stay. It’s only a 10-minute drive from attractions such as the Confucian Temple and Nantang Old Street. It is a 20-minute drive to both the train station and airport.
