Having fun with Yun Bao
Tourism authorities in Dayun, Zhejiang Province, have developed a variety of programs combining culture and tourism that are themed on Yun Bao, its tourism mascot, to promote its tourist attractions.
These include children’s music drama, books and animated films. The music drama “Yun Bao,” which tells how the animated figure Yun Bao tackles crisis together with human beings, was staged in Shanghai recently.
Books of “Yun Bao” were sold at the Shanghai Book Fair.
The music drama will be staged in Dayun as well.
Dayun boasts several 4A tourist attractions including the Biyun Flower Sea, Yunlanwan Hot Spring and Aficion Chocolate Town.
Dayun started stepping up the integration of culture and tourism mid last year to boost its tourism. Last year, it received 2.43 million visitors, a rise of over 38 percent from a year earlier, earning revenue of 460 million yuan (US$67.23 million).
