Kunming metro trial

TRIALS started this week on a metro system in Kunming, capital of Yunnan Province in southwest China, the first metro serving at a high altitude city in China. The south section of the Metro Line 1 and Line 2 covers more than 22 kilometers, with 12 stops. Trains will run at 40-second intervals, and can reach a speed of 80km per hour on the route.
