Providing data analysis for nation’s tourist attractions

China Tourism Academy and Shanghai-based online travel operator Lvmama have established an intellectual property big data laboratory, which will provide data analysis to support tourist attractions in China.

Dujiangyan, Mount Emei, Yellow Mountain, Tianmu Lake and Mutianyu section of the Great Wall were among the top 10 popular scenic attractions announced by the laboratory, while Chimelong Ocean Kingdom, Disney Resort and Haichang Ocean Park were among the top 10 theme parks.

Lvmama has also released a new service “easy go, easy pay” which allows tourists with good credibility to travel first and pay after they finish the tours. The practice aims to create a safe and comfortable tour experience for group travelers. A compensation standard covering accommodation, catering and shopping has also been established.
