Tanzania offers a direct flight route from Shanghai

Tanzania Tourism Board has unveiled its latest offerings to attract Chinese people to the largest East African country. The number of Chinese tourists to Tanzania increased by 33,000 in 2018, 4,000 more than that of 2017. China has a long standing friendship with Tanzania and the African nation seeks to cement its friendship through tourism. Tanzania Airlines has opened a direct flight from Shanghai to Tanzania.
Tourists can enjoy the islands’ natural scenery, grasslands, waterways, wetlands, mountains and volcanoes. Visitors can also watch the Great Migrations in East Africa every year. China has become the fifth largest source market of tourists, the embassy revealed. And an electronic visa system will be launched in August to make it more convenient for tourists to visit Tanzania.
