CTRIP is organizing a trip for foreigners to Zhangjiajie scenic area in Hunan Province from July 11-13.
Within Zhangjiajie, the karst peaks of Wulingyuan Scenic Area make for great hiking and, if the weather is cooperative, excellent photographs. This UNESCO World Heritage site has everything from deep valleys and majestic mountains to an underground waterfall and numerous legends about how some of the peaks formed.
It was also the inspiration for the landscapes in James Cameron’s blockbuster film “Avatar.”
With experienced English-speaking tour guides, participants can meet some new friends and engage with fellow nature lovers.
