11 caught in utilities scam

LOCAL police said yesterday that they had detained 11 suspects who pushed equipment that supposedly stole utilities like water, electricity and gas.
The suspects went to people's homes and taught how to use the gear, police said. The suspects then would blackmail the residents, threatening to report them, police said. The suspects were found being involved in more than 100 such blackmails, police said.
