140 medical students, researchers win Roche fund

A total of 128 leading medical students and 12 researchers in China won this year’s Roche Diagnostics China Medical and Life Science Education and Research Fund, which was handed out in Shanghai yesterday.
The fund is the first and oldest fund rewarding excellent students and researchers on the field of in vitro diagnostics in China to boost the development of diagnostics in the nation.
In vitro diagnostics are tests that can detect diseases, conditions, or infections through taking out human’s sample like blood, body fluid and tissue for testing, which are usually performed in a medical laboratory.
