2 men walk subway line
METRO'S Line 11 was delayed for about 10 minutes after two men were found walking along the track yesterday afternoon. The two were soon taken away and faced possible fines, according a subway spokesman.
A Metro driver spotted the two about 2pm when the subway arrived at its terminal at North Jiading Station. The driver braked the train and informed security staff, who took the men onto the train. The men, both from Chongqing Municipality, had climbed across barriers and planned to go to the downtown area along the track, the Metro operator said. But they were headed in the wrong direction.
