5 more nabbed in tweezer thefts
ANOTHER five suspects were caught for alleged street theft with tweezers, police said yesterday, bringing the total number of suspects to 11.
Following a clue from six suspects caught on Sunday, Hongkou District police caught the five and confiscated two cars and several tweezers. The police said the gang was connected to at least 50 thefts in food markets in Hongkou and Yangpu districts.
