9 injured in suburban factory blaze

Nine people were injured in a fire that swept a factory building in Shanghai's suburban Fengxian District this morning.
The fire happened about 9:28am inside the factory area of Shanghai Intco Company located in Fengxian.
The fire was put out about an hour later, said city fire department.
The injured were sent to hospital for treatment with the investigation ongoing.
The company, a branch of Shangdong Intco Recycling Resources Co., specializes in the production and sales of polymer material imitation-wood molding as well as home decorations like picture and drawing frames.
The production lines mainly use a recycling material called polystyrene plastic, according to the company's website. The material is highly flammable.
