A bright idea
ALL 11 primary and middle schools in Pudong's Huamu area yesterday began a pilot safety program with the introduction of highly visible reflectors on uniforms.
The program was launched by Safe Kids Worldwide, a global non-profit organization, and FedEx. Monica Cui, director of Safe Kids China, said yesterday that the group wanted to promote the safe-walk program to more schools. Reflectors in the Pudong program are installed on shoulders, elbows and wrists.
