Air Liquide backs World Expo with hydrogen

AIR Liquide has just signed an agreement with ENN Group to provide delivery service and backup hydrogen supply for the hydrogen refilling stations serving the World Expo Shanghai.

Under the agreement, Air Liquide will provide all the logistics, including trailers and tractors, for the transport of hydrogen. In addition, Air Liquide's hydrogen sources will be used as backup to ensure a safe and reliable supply of hydrogen during the Expo.

During the event, around 200 hydrogen fuel cell vehicles will be used on the Expo site to transport visitors. Accordingly, two hydrogen refilling stations will be put into service by ENN, with the new one on Jiyang Road, Pudong New Area, being the main hydrogen refilling station. The original station in Anting, Jiading District, will be used for backup.

Air Liquide has over 40 years' experience in hydrogen, covering its entire chain from production, storage, distribution to application.
