LOCAL legislators are amending a local law to allow parents whose children die in accidents blamed on school authorities to claim compensation on the grounds of mental anguish.
The law covering school accidents to primary and middle school students is being revised following calls for it to include this category. This will improve parents' chances receiving compensation in court.
